2015-2016 WPS VEX IQ Championship
On June 1st ten elementary schools from the Worcester Public Schools participated in a robotics tournament at Quinsigamond Community College.
One hundred and fifty enthusiastic students in grades five and six, their teachers, administrators, parents, and 31 robots came to this tournament which culminated the 2015-2016 after school robotics club. In the robotics club, students build robots to perform tasks such as picking up and throwing balls and climbing ramps on the playing fields. Following the Engineering process, students, planned, created, problem solved, and improved their robots.
Everyone was a winner at the robotics tournament and all participants received medals.

Engineering Notebooks - Woodland
Team Spirit - Clark Street
Sportsmanship - Goddard
Judges Award for Autonomous (Programming) - Tatnuck Magnet
Judges Award for Merit - Elm Park
Teamwork Championship (High Score) - Rice Square and Midland
